September Project Completed

The youth worked very hard Saturday for several hours at Forest Avenue UMC. They sorted and organized the clothes closets. They also converted a storage room into a food pantry. They dug up old tile, built 5 shelving units (200 square feet of shelving), and then stocked the shelves with food donated by Christ UMC members. What an awesome job from 8 amazing young people! As we sat down and had lunch, we were entertained by Ernie, a musician who wanted to share his gift of song with us. Once again, everyone was blessed. What's more, the blessings will continue as the clothes closet and food pantry helps our sister church on Forest Avenue minister daily to those in need. Thanks to everyone who made this project possible. Our youth are continuing to learn, as we all are, what it means to be the "hands and feet of Christ."
